MID OCTOBER, DINNER IN A RESTAURANT WITH GARDEN.

This example of autumn theme wedding will link everything to this season, starting from the decorations of the wedding reception to the food and the atmosphere. Typically, Autumn weather tends to be on the cool side, even if in the last few years here in Umbria it can be often on the warm side. Summer flowers have begun to disappear, but fall colors of nature have taken their place. Earth tones and textures will definitely set the tone of this wedding, embracing Autumn colors, such as: brown, rust, copper, red, terra cotta, and gold. Tables will be arranged in a ‘harvest theme’ with fruits and candles bearing typical fall colors, using for example grapes, pomegranates, chestnuts, maple leaves….

Wedding reception: decoration of the restaurant made with maple leaves, chestnuts, pomegranates and candles.

Welcome drink served in the garden: selection of aperitif wines served with an assortment of bruschettas with truffles, olive oil, mushrooms, mozzarella and sausages, garlic bread, different kinds of cold cuts and small pizza slices.

Seated dinner inside the restaurant: this can start with tortellini in mushroom cream, tagliatelle with bolognese ragout followed by meat fillet cooked with truffles and nuts, roasted potatoes and a seasonal salad. All the food servings will have a matching wine.

Tables: rust table cloths, centerpieces made with a beautiful cream candle surrounded by maple leaves, chestnuts and pomegranates. Placeholders decorated as the table plan, napkins closed with a maple leave.

Table plan: every table will be named by a different kind of spice as for example red pepper, cinnamon, paprika… these spices will be decorated on the table plan with the names of the guests seated on the respective table.

Desserts served buffet style: a wide selection of pastries, profitterol, tozzetti e vin santo (a typical Italian dessert) chocolates, confetti served with a selection of sweet wines such as Moscato, Fragolino, Zibibbo, Brachetto.

Wedding cake: classic single tier cake, decorated with marron glaces, whipped cream and chocolate.

Wedding favors: confetti creation in tulle, enclosing sugar coated almonds, closed with a small fake pomegranate attached to a small bottle of truffle oil.
